WEEK 1

Dear Our Time Parent:

T.S. Eliot captured the importance of the child’s early years in six simple words, “Home is where one starts from.” In Kindermusik’s Milk & Cookies, we celebrate “home.” Today we enjoyed pretending to build a house with the chant A House For Me, we giggled as we “became” clothes in a washing machine, and we utilized lots of energy as we dusted while listening to the recording of In My House. At home, read the book At My House with your child. Talk with him/her about things you like to do together at home. Can you hear, smell or feel sensations that go with these activities? Reinforce the concept of senses both with the book and with your own ideas.

Remind your child that you will be coming back to Kindermusik next week for more singing and dancing. I look forward to seeing you then.
