WEEK 11

Dear Our Time Parent:

“The world tips away when we look into our children’s faces.”  -- Louise Erdrich

I always enjoy this time of year -- when the children begin to settle into class with a feeling of comfort and of knowing what to expect.  You, the parent, have played an integral part in helping your child adapt to what may be new experiences, new people, a new place, etc.  Now, typically, we can all enjoy watching the children’s faces as they delight in singing, seeing their Kindermusik friends and participating in class in a number of different ways.  If your child is the hesitant one, don’t become discouraged!  Each child’s temperament and personality will determine his/her level of participation – your support and loving attention are what is important.  If your child is the one who leaves you to go sit with a friend or other parent, don’t despair!  Your child’s outgoing attitude is a tribute to the stability you have provided.

Let’s enjoy these next few weeks as we continue to sing and dance together!
