Dear Imagine That! Parent:

I hope you all enjoyed this week’s singing game “A-Tisket, A-Tasket” as much as I did! I always enjoy this game—watching the children “lose” and “find” the scarves and watching the interactions between the parents and the children! “A-Tisket, A-Tasket” is just plain fun, but it’s interesting to also note the benefits your child receives while playing such a game.

Playing a singing game offers opportunities for children to:

• Learn social patterns,
• Interact with others in a positive way,
• Learn to play in a group setting for an extended amount of time, and
• Communicate more effectively with others.

Enjoy more game playing at home with the song on Home CD 2, track 15. I’ll see you next week!
