HELLO WEATHER, LET’S PLAY TOGETHER!

WEEK 1

Dear Imagine That! Parent:

The first class of Hello Weather, Let’s Play Together! was such an exciting one! We sang and danced and used our imaginations to conjure up a story about a lovely sunny morning. Ask your child what the rooster sings and you’re likely to hear the simple Hebrew “kukuriku” melody. This melody of two pitches is accepted as the most common, easily sung melody used worldwide by children of all ages. You may also hear it in on your Home CD in the song Morning Sun Has Risen.

Build your child’s excitement about returning to class next week by engaging him/her with the Home Materials. Be sure to read Family Activity #1, listen to the Home CDs, explore the instruments and play with the Hello Weather Play Set. Shall it be a sunshiny or a snowy day today? Will your kittens need mittens?

Today we began making new class friends and developing new relationships. I look forward to seeing this class grow and learn together this semester. See you next week!
